About Our Team
Dr Kathryn Logan DVM
Veterinarian
Kathryn is our amazing veterinarian and owner of Hallam Park Animal Hospital! Has been part of the veterinary industry for many years, starting her journey in 2010. She has worked in regional veterinary clinics doing all manner of general practice from, consultation to surgery and emergency.
She took over the clinic in 2023 with a desire to create a friendly clinic with a family feel which focusses on preventative medicine where she feels we can help the most with early detection and management before a disease state has developed. She tries her best to make consults easily to understand and aims to prioritise you and your pet above all else.
Kathryn has specific interests in general practice first opinion veterinary medicine including surgery and dentistry.
At home Kathryn adores her extensive family of three gorgeous dogs, Alfie, Bundy, Blue (pictured above) and her two cats Charlie and Dash. She also has several chickens
Laura

Laura is our fantastic front of house! She is the first smiling face you’ll see as you walk into our clinic. Laura has been working in customer care for many years though has been working in the veterinary industry since 2022.
She loves animals and believes it is a privilege to have a job where she gets to meet so many pets and their lovely owners.

Pran Lazo
Cert IV Veterinary Nurse
Pran is our phenomenal veterinary head nurse who’s been at the practice since 2020 (even before Dr Kathryn started). She is passionate about good quality patient care and has very high standards, she treats all patients with the care and support she would give to her own pets.
After completing her certificate in veterinary nursing she is a registered veterinary nurse with a commitment to continual personal improvement and education. She has additional training in dentistry and dental radiographs, orthopaedic surgical nursing and anaesthetics. Pran is amazing at making sure everything runs smoothly out back and ensures the best care for your pet.
Pran is passionate about her frenchies Luna, Freddy and Leo and her aquarium. Pran enjoys spoiling her family and has an incredible knack for the culinary arts. Pran’s first passion was sculpture and art but after falling in love with nursing and veterinary medicine, she’s never looked back! She’s brought her artistic flare to the clinic by sewing our hand made kennel covers, giving your pet some privacy during their hospital stay.
Summer
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Summer is an amazing future vet student who has been working at Hallam Park Animal Hospital 2024. Summer has completed her Bachelors in Veterinary and Wildlife Science and is hoping to start her degree in Veterinary Medicine next year. Summer has completed her Certificate II in Animal Care and has been strengthening her anaesthetic monitoring and animal handling skills at the clinic.
Summer has a interest in pharmacology and thoroughly enjoys meeting you and pet in consults. Her favourite part of the job is interacting with the animals and looking after your pets when they’re recovering from surgery.
On her days off Summer works at a pharmacy and in retail. In her precious free time, she enjoys spending time with her own pets and family and loves going to the gym.
