National Desexing Network (NDN) Discounts

The National Desexing Network (NDN) encourages veterinary clinics to give voluntary discounted desexing services for both dogs and cats by providing administrative support when assessing eligibility of pet owners. The Hallam Park Animal Hospital is not financially supported in any way to provide NDN discount and as such these discounts are provided at discretion of the veterinarian.

The National Desexing Network (NDN) is a seperate initiative to Hallam Park Animal Hospital, to recieve these discounts, please follow the instructions on the NDN website ndn.org.au/low-cost-desexing/

* Must present NDN voucher prior to booking and DRIVERS LICENSE and matching PENSION/CONCESSION card on the day of surgery

For desexing at Hallam Park Animal Hospital NDN prices for pension/concession card holders are:

DOGS – 10% discount off the full price listed below

Small dogs (0-9.9kg):

$440 for male dog desexing castration (10% discount to $396 desexing)
$600 for female dog desexing spey (10% discount to $540 desexing)

Medium dogs (10-19.9kg):

$460 for male dog desexing castration (10% discount to $414 desexing)
$630 for female dog desexing spey (10% discount to $567 desexing)

Large dogs (20-29kg):

$480 for male dog desexing castration (10% discount to $432 desexing)
$660 for female dog desexing spey (10% discount to $594 desexing)

X-Large dogs (30-35kg):

$490 for male dog desexing castration (10% discount to $441 desexing)
$700 for female dog desexing spey (10% discount to $630 desexing)

*Heavier dogs may or may not be eligible for a discount voucher pending weight. Contact the clinic for pricing of larger dogs

NOTES: Desexing surgery includes full comprehensive care with no differences in care between full fee and discounted surgery pricing. We provide a high standard of surgical care and patients receive IV fluids, modern anaesthetics, complete surgery, injectable pain relief on the day and take home pain relief, as well as free post operative checkups.
* Surcharges of $70 apply for mature female dogs over 2 years of age
* Surcharge of $125 apply to overweight (>6 BCS) or in season pets

* Pregnant or lactating pets, pets with previous abdominal surgery/scaring and/or short nosed (brachycephalic) breeds are ineligible for a discount voucher and are charged at full price.

Cat desexing can be as cheap as $60 for male cat desexing while the cost for female cat desexing is $100 with the City of Casey Cat desexing program.

A seperate initiative in addition to the clinic discounts:

The City of Casey, in partnership with NDN, has launched a discounted cat desexing program. This is the cheapest cat desexing available for residents of the City of Casey who meet eligibility listed below. The City of Casey subsidy is funded by The City of Casey.

City of Casey eligible residents can get their male cat desexed for $60

Male cat desexing for $60 + free microchipping

City of Casey eligible residents can get their female cat desexed for $100

Female cat desexing for $100 + free microchipping

To be eligible for the City of Casey Cat desexing program, residents must:

Live in the City of Casey
Hold a valid pension or concession card
Attend a participating vet clinic

To access the NDN or the City of Casey program:

Call NDN at 1300 368 992 and request ‘City of Casey cat desexing voucher’ to determine eligibility and receive a desexing voucher
Once you have received the voucher, email to the clinic, info@hallamparkvet.com.au, and we will contact you to make an appointment at your convenience

Important notes:

Vouchers are not available online and must be obtained by calling to request a ‘City of Casey cat desex voucher’ on 1300 368 992 pending City of Casey funding. Or by requesting the alternative concession 10% discount voucher from the National Desexing Network on 1300 368 992, this offer is available year round.
The program’s availability is subject to Council funding
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity promptly

If you do not have a voucher you can still have your cat desexed. We offer a 10% discount off the full price listed below with the NDN voucher to concession/pension card holders.
