The National Desexing Network (NDN) encourages veterinary clinics to give voluntary discounted desexing services for both dogs and cats by providing administrative support when assessing eligibility of pet owners. The Hallam Park Animal Hospital is not financially supported in any way to provide NDN discounts and as such these discounts are provided at discretion of the veterinarian.

For desexing at Hallam Park Animal Hospital NDN prices for pension/concession card holders are:

DOGS – 10% discount off the full price listed below

• Small dogs (0-9.9kg): $440 for males, $600 for females
• Medium dogs (10-19.9kg): $460 for males, $630 for females
• Large dogs (20-29kg): $480 for males, $660 for females
• X-Large dogs (30-38kg): $500 for males, $680 for females

CATS  – 10% discount off the full price listed below

• Male cat desexing for $250  (Discount price $225)
• Female cat desexing for $400  (Discount price $365)

The City of Casey, in partnership with NDN, has launched a discounted cat desexing program. 

To be eligible for the City of Casey  program, residents must:

• Live in the City of Casey
• Hold a valid pension or concession card
• Attend a participating vet clinic

To access the NDN or the City of Casey program:

1. Call NDN at 1300 368 992 to determine eligibility and receive a desexing voucher
2. Book into a a participating vet clinic advised by the NDN.

Important notes:

• Vouchers are not available online and must be obtained through the National Desexing Network
• The program’s availability is subject to Council funding
• Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity promptly
